Welcome to my website, my name is Salvatore Forte, but please call me Sal. My family and I relocated from Niagara Falls Ontario to Lethbridge Alberta in 2024. Seeking a calmer lifestyle, a sense of community, better resources for my 10 year old son and of course, breathtaking scenery. Lethbridge Alberta was the perfect fit for us!! A little about myself… I am a husband, father, entrepreneur and mortgage planner. While living in Niagara Falls, Ontario, I helped my wife with creating, developing, marketing and running a 5 star Massage Therapy Clinic for the past 8 years (my wife has been an RMT for 21 years, and a mighty good one at that!) This was a huge and rewarding accomplishment for us both and we were recently awarded the Consumers Choice Award for the Best Massage Therapy Clinic for 2025 for the entire Niagara region, an incredible highlight and honour of our hardwork and dedication! My interest with mortgage planning really began many years ago when my wife and I were applying for a mortgage ourselves at a financial institution, and because my wife was a self employed entrepreneur, we were laughed at during our appointment and told that we wouldn’t qualify. I’ll never forget us leaving that day feeling completely defeated. We thought we would never qualify or achieve home ownership simply because we didn’t fit the “ideal” employment model. However, after speaking with a knowledgeable realtor, it was suggested that we reach out to a brokerage to pursue a mortgage application and honestly it was the best decision we could have made and it delivered, we became home owners! Our mortgage planner treated us with care and respect and what were major concerns for the other institutions were not an issue for this brokerage. They guided us through the application process, answered all of our questions and concerns and put to rest the doubt we’d had previously. We were able to achieve homeownership, a dream that we once thought to be unattainable and it was finally a reality! That feeling of success motivated me to pursue a career as a mortgage planner. I wanted to help others that were in similar situations as myself, perhaps confused and overwhelmed with the application process or considered to not be the “ideal candidate”. Buying a home can be a very overwhelming experience but it is also incredibly exciting. The stress and worry should be taken away from you during this process or at the least be minimized. I will work steadfast to reduce your worries and frustrations. I am committed to helping you reach your goals, whether it is home ownership, refinancing or qualifying for a HELOC. Your success is my success and I assure you that no challenge is too great.
